Job Description:
AEM is searching for a qualified Crystal Reports Developer who can design and develop enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions against multiple data sources and data warehouse repositories using Crystal Reports and Business Objects reporting tools.
Experience and/or Skills Requirements:
- Developing reports using Crystal Reports 2008 , Oracle SQL, and Business Objects Web Intelligence reporting tools
- Developing and writing design documents for reports, interfaces and other project components
- Performing data analysis on multiple relational (Oracle) databases/schemas. Strong knowledge and experience in relational database design is a must
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and writing complex Oracle SQL queries
- Strong debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills needed to work effectively with team members, development teams, and business analysts
- Strong focus on internal and external customer requirements
- Ability to participate in project status discussions, notify Project Manager of risks or issues related to assignments
- Ability to complete all assigned work, work independently, and multi-task effectively with minimal assistance or supervision
Experience Preferred:
- Universe development and design
- Xcelsius and Analytics experience and development
- Knowledge of SAP Business Objects R4 Central Management Server (CMC) and Life Cycle Management (LCM)
- Web services knowledge
- Knowledge of data warehouse and star schema solutions
- Oracle PL/SQL experience
- TOAD experience
- JIRA and CVS
Requirements:

Job Description: Technology is a key enabler for our customers and a key focus for the company. AEM supports a broad range of technologies including but not limited to J2EE, .NET, SOA, relational and big data taxonomies, web centric and mobile computing. To support our continued growth in these areas we are seeking a skilled Senior ASP.NET/VB.NET developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. As a Senior Developer, this individual will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing web-based applications. This individual will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build highly-performing enterprise systems that allow our clients to meet the needs of their constantly changing environments. Specific requirements will include the following:
- Build new systems with .NET 4.0 / ASP.NET / VB.NET / SQL Server 2008 / WCF Web Services / WCF Data Services.
- Develop new functionality within our client’s existing applications.
- Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations.
- Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team having rapid, agile development schedules.
- Participate as a liaison with our client’s technology representatives.
The following requisite skills and attributes are expected for this position:
- Six or more years’ experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus).
- Three or more years’ experience with ASP.NET/VB.NET.
- Two or more years working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred).
- Three years or more experience with SharePoint (2007/2010) development and cross platform integration
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
- In depth knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET.
- Strong CSS and Javascript capability.
- Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
- Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
- Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.
- Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
- Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred. Master’s Degree is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications beneficial.
