Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology Support (IT)
AEM provides the
Naval Air Systems Command's (NAVAIR) Lead Maintenance Technology Center (LMTCE)
development of tools for the Environmental Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH)
Coordinators and Program Managers (PMs) to use in order to more easily complete
their job and track the results. AEM developed the NAVAIR environmental web
site which provides any-time access to timely information for the Naval Aviation
community. AEM was able to overcome all of the challenges required to produce
and integrate the various web tools that allow NAVAIR users (even NMCI users)
to have a one-stop site for environmental information specifically applicable
to their environmental and acquisition requirements. This web site provides
insight and serves as an information source for current environmental regulations
and regulatory impacts to the NAVAIR community. It provides support and tracking
for the Technology Needs Survey (TNS), Fleet Support Desk, and annual Environmental
Information Exchanges. Acquisition planning, compliance, and pollution prevention
needs are managed within the web site. This web site is managed outside of the
NMCI structure, but is planned to work seamlessly across the web with NMCI clients.
