As director and co-founder of AEM's AI practice, Mat supports the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the AI team. This includes a mix of sales and consulting as well as product development under the DataWorks brand.
At AEM, Mat has led a diverse set of engagements. DataWorks products have been used by a range of civilian agencies and the Department of Defense to save money, improve operations, and offer new insights. Other consulting efforts range from content governance at the scale of a cabinet-level agency to improving help desk operations for a high-profile data collection.
Over his career, Mat has worked with Fortune 500 tech companies and global not-for-profit organizations to apply best practices in user experience, digital strategy, and marketing. These experiences range from writing a global marketing plan for the World Health Organization to founding and running an advertising network that partnered with national news sites, leading to recognition as Forbes "30 Under 30."
