Duane Brown offers data expertise as a Senior Business Analyst. He has more than 15 years’ experience working for and with State Education Agencies managing education data. Mr. Brown focuses on data standards, data management and governance, data architecture, and stakeholder engagement.
Throughout his career in education data, he has worked to advocate for the use of education standards, promote free and open resources to help education agencies manage their data effectively and at low cost, and produce resources that can be shared from agency to agency. In this work, Mr. Brown has served in leadership roles and workgroups contributing to and encouraging collaboration between three recognized standards in the K12 education data space: the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS), the Ed-Fi Alliance, and Access 4 Learning.
