As Senior Program Manager, Jeff Sellers provides technical assistance to state education agencies for a range of efforts at the US Department of Education, including EDTAP, the Center for the Integration of IDEA data (CIID), and OSEP’s data system integration project for Part B 619 & Part C (DaSy). He has over 38 years of experience working with education data. He supports states to resolve issues relating to data governance, adoption of the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS), data usage, data visualization, project management, early childhood integrated data systems and longitudinal data system design. 

Before joining AEM, Jeff worked for the Florida Department of Education as the Deputy Commissioner for the Division of Accountability, Research and Management. His division was responsible for the agency’s student and staff data systems for PK-12, community college, career technical education, and the nation’s first P-20 SLDS. While working in Florida, Jeff was involved in a variety of information system capacities, including data management, data warehousing, information security, database administration, and data systems.
