AEM Blue

AEM has launched the P-20W+ Data Accelerator, an information clearinghouse for guidance and supports for state data modernization efforts.

The Data Accelerator is designed to meet the specific needs of state employees engaged in data modernization efforts, ranging from senior leadership responsible for setting strategic direction to the project managers, technical experts, and content experts responsible for delivering on that vision. A core component of the approach is the unique collaboration among industry tech leaders and state participants.

Content from the website reflects intensive efforts from an active Community of Innovation funded by the Gates Foundation and led by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and AEM Education. Content on the site is selected from an array of organizations and vetted by the states and industry technology leaders who participate in the Community. They span the topics of data use, governance, infrastructure, planning, and privacy.

Additionally, the website spotlights original content that meets emerging needs and helps to bridge the gap between theory and practice. These resources are developed through a collaborative process facilitated by the Community of Innovation leadership. Early examples of this content include the Data Storytelling Toolkit and the Guide for Sustaining P-20W+ Data Governance.

As the Community of Innovation continues its efforts, the Data Accelerator will publish new content and disseminate it through online channels. Reach out through the Data Accelerator website if you’d like to join the email list or if you have any suggestions for future content.
