AEM Blue

AEM is supporting a unique single-state pilot project to assess what policies, procedures, and lessons a state could adapt from the Army child care system model to improve the quality of state child care systems.

Through work with child care state administrators, QRIS directors, and child care licensing directors, the intention of the pilot is to find opportunities to scale across the United States.

In collaboration with the National Workforce Registry Alliance, we will document the processes and procedures that are successful in the state pilot. We will also develop guidance for other states to outline how to improve child care quality and workforce issues (including professional development) based on lessons learned from the pilot.
