Doug has worked in software development to support the U.S. Department of Education for more than two decades supporting large and diverse user bases, implementing complex data processing pipelines, and making data accessible through evolving visualization practices. He manages a team that works with education data through data collection, reporting, consumption, monitoring, and management. As well, his work covers a diverse set of technologies, including .NET, Angular, AWS, and DevSecOps.

- Developed an enhanced process for publisher metrics reporting, making use of fuzzy matching to enhance accuracy.
- Leads development, operations, and maintenance of the Education Stabilization Fund (ESF) transparency portal and data collection site produced for the CARES, CRRSA, and ARP Acts.
