AEM helps clients to implement bold reforms and empower their stakeholders through comprehensive training and technical assistance support.
Federal, state, and local leaders are constantly challenged to do more with less, requiring subject matter support across a range of disciplines. We provide the training and technical assistance these leaders need to share, inform, and guide their stakeholders to implement new initiatives—taking into account evidence-based approaches, lessons learned by their peers, and the experience of leading experts in the field.
AEM has supported more than 40 projects for the U.S. Department of Education, Health and Human Services, the Department of Labor, and state and local education agencies. We provide technical assistance through coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders using established processes and tools to deliver countless online communities of practice, workshops, webinars, publications, and in-person meetings and conferences.
Our subject matter experts channel in-depth understanding of social policy and practices to build internal capacity and establish the external partnerships leaders need to succeed in the public sector marketplace. Our network of more than 150 subject matter experts includes accomplished educators, early childhood specialists, researchers, state and local government leaders, and experts across other sectors. These experts have supported scores of federal agencies, grant recipients, and state and local governments by providing individual and peer to peer technical assistance that is customized to meet local and regional needs.
