As America’s leading provider of non-emergency medical transportation, LogistiCare operates in 40 states and annually provides more than 65 million trips for more than 24 million members.

More than a transport service, LogistiCare approaches the health and safety of its passengers with a sense of responsibility—service, convenience, and security are top priorities. In AEM, LogistiCare found a tech-savvy partner that shared these values. Together, we sped up LogistiCare processes while working against tight deadlines.

AEM modernized LogistiCare’s proprietary logistics software and implemented a fully functional business service and supporting rule base. This structure provided a template on which LogistiCare could expand its service and more swiftly respond to the non-emergency transportation needs of its members. In fact, AEM facilitated a novel integration with the Lyft ride-sharing service that would become a model for later Lyft integrations.

Through AEM support, LogistiCare dramatically reduced their response time and service costs. They increased agent efficiency by 15% and reduced operational costs by an estimated $6 million per year.
